Tassie Seasons is our fifth series in Van Dieman's collection of Tasmanian Fountain Pen Inks. These sixteen inks encapsulate the changing colours of Tasmania's seasons, with four inks dedicated to each season. Tassie Seasons is a mix of dark and light, warm and cool, every-day writing worthy and artistically minded colours, including two shimmer inks.
Tasmania is the only state in Australia with a truly temperate climate. Winter exhibits colourful festivals in the south, generous snowfalls in the central highlands, and foggy days in Launceston from July through to September. Cool and breezy spring days unveil a kaleidoscope of native flowers, vibrantly plumed birds and stunning butterflies. An abundance of local produce arrives in the summer, to be enjoyed with a day at the many beaches, and followed by the ominous summer storm. In Autumn enjoy late seasons figs and pepperberries and marvel at Australia's only native deciduous tree at the turning of the fagus.

Colorverse inks are made in Korea from plant-based pigments, resulting in amazingly vivid colours that are pH neutral and quick-drying. Their numerous collections are all inspired by the natural world, both down here on Earth and up there in space. The packaging is second to none, with close attention to illustrative detail, and beautifully-shaped glass bottles.
The Joy in the Ordinary series celebrates everyday life. The colours are muted, and even the 30ml glass bottle is a little more ordinary, being a useful - but not outlandish - oval shape. A rubber seal incorporated into the lid keeps the ink safe.
Kakimori and Inkstand inks are water-based pigment inks designed for fountain pens. There are two main types of fountain pen ink — dye ink and pigment ink — each with distinct physical properties.
These are pigment inks exclusive to Tokyo's Starbucks Reserve Roastery, inspired by Teavana colours.

Dominant Industry is a newly established ink company in South Korea. Dominant is the most important key to guiding the whole song in musical terms, and in artistic terms it means "the main color of the many colors of the picture".
Alchemist calligraphy ink, best used with dip pens. It contains UV-reactive pigments, so with exposure to sunlight you'll see a change in the colour!
The Alchemist inks are designed to be used with dip pens and are not suitable for internally filling pens.
