A wonderfully beautiful spectacle of nature can be observed during spring nights at certain places all over the world. One of these places is in Japan. At the coast of the district Toyama – the namesake for this new and unique Collection variant – the water is illuminated by a mysterious blue sheen during that time.
The rare and spectacular phenomenon is called bioluminescence and is caused by light-emitting creatures. Especially in Toyama, it is created by the gathering of a certain species of squid. Those thousands upon thousands of points of light, performing a captivating spectacle upon the water surface, are mirrored by the high-quality plastic of this fountain pen. Depending on the particular light irradiation, the pearly green pigments sparkle more or less intensively. The overall design is completed by a combination with silver elements.
Imitating this fascinating occurrence, this writing instrument will be delivered within a colour-matching packaging that is reminiscent of the shimmering waves of water.
In 1911 something remarkable by the name of Kaweco Sport was created. The pocket-sized fountain pen only measures 10.5 cm when closed. Therefore, you can easily take it anywhere. With the cap attached, it extends to an average size of 13 cm.
You can choose between five nib sizes, ranging from extra fine (EF) to extra broad (BB). If you’re not sure which size you want or need, we recommend the nib size M. All nibs and the entire fountain pen are made in Germany. It contains a Royal Blue ink cartridge as standard.

This 50ml bottle of Jacques Herbin 1670 Émeraude de Chivor (Emerald of Chivor) green-blue ink has intense red sheen and gold flecks, and was originally released in August 2015. This is the fourth ink in the Jacques Herbin 1670 Anniversary Ink series. Each bottle cap is hand dipped in sealing wax, with a stamped "1670" seal on the front of the bottle, and is individually packaged in a collector edition box.
Jacques Herbin is said to have kept an emerald in his pocket during his voyages as a good luck charm. These precious gemstones have been treasured for centuries as protective talismans. One of the purest emerald deposits in the world, the Chivor mine was discovered in the middle of the16th century by Spanish conquistadors.
Chivor emeralds were much in demand, and the emperors and royalty of India, Turkey and Persia sought the New World treasures once the gems arrived in Europe. Emeralds were enormously popular with the Mughal Court, whose emperors referred to them as "Tears of the Moon" because of their opaque transparency.
This beautiful emerald green blue ink contains a red sheen with gold flecks throughout, enhancing your writing with an elegance and beauty that is unmatched by other inks.
