Since it uses carbon black pigment, it has excellent water resistance and light resistance, dries quickly, and is clear. It is an ideal ink for permanent storage of records.
*Because it is not water-soluble, once it dries it will not dissolve again, so care must be taken when using it. Do not leave the fountain pen with the cap removed. Once the ink dries, the fountain pen will need to be completely disassembled and cleaned.
